Farzana leads on Property law for Lawfare Solicitors. She has specialised in residential and commercial issues since 2015 and has wide range of experience.
Farzana provides a friendly and professional service to all clients. She has established excellent working relationships with clients and third parties to ensure all property transactions are dealt with efficiently. Her areas of expertise are:

- property transfers including both freehold and leasehold;

- plot sales and purchases;

Farzana provides an efficient and thorough professional service to all clients. She prides herself on guiding those clients who are new to the property market through the process from start to finish as well as working with more experienced clients to meet their particular needs. Farzana understands that each transaction is different and personal to each client and relishes working with both clients
and agents to ensure that their expectations are fulfilled.
On a personal level, Farzana is a keen walker and enjoys spending time outdoors.
Sidra Qayyum

Sidra brings a wealth of experience in various areas of law, including property (both commercial real estate and residential properties), probate law, and family law. She successfully completed her LLB (Hons) at Bedfordshire University and later achieved her LPC at Westminster University in 2014. Sidra began her legal career with training at Mayfair Solicitor, where she gained valuable expertise handling a range of complex cases.
After a career break of 5 years, Sidra joined forces with other partners to establish Lawfare Solicitors in 2021. Her primary focus involves handling diverse commercial and residential property transactions, covering a broad spectrum of legal matters.
In the realm of commercial transactions, Sidra's expertise includes:
Negotiating new commercial leases for both landlords and tenants.
Managing commercial lease assignments.
Facilitating commercial purchases and sales subject to existing tenancies.
Her involvement in residential properties encompasses:
Overseeing the sale of both freehold and leasehold properties.
Handling the purchase of freehold and leasehold properties.
Managing sales and purchases of new builds and plots.
In the field of probate work, Sidra is well-versed in the legal processes associated with managing a deceased individual's assets, including properties, finances, business shares, and possessions. She is adept at applying for a grant of probate.
Sidra's competence extends to family law matters, where she handles:
Divorce proceedings.
Negotiation and settlement of financial matters arising from divorce.
Child arrangements and custody cases.
Outside of office hours, Sidra finds joy in spending quality time with her two young sons and family
Ghulam Mehr Ali Shah
Litigation Paralegal
Ghulam Mehr is a dedicated Litigation Paralegal at Lawfare Solicitors, specialising in civil litigation, judicial review, immigration appeals, and family law. Called to the Bar at Inner Temple, he completed his Bar Training Course at the University of the West of England, holds an LL.B. from the University of London and a BSc (Honours) in Management Sciences from Lahore University of Management Sciences.
With extensive experience supporting the management of complex cases from inception to resolution, he has assisted in unlawful detention claims that achieved substantial outcomes and contributed to high-profile judicial reviews, including challenges in the Administrative Court and the Court of Appeal. His prior role as an Advocate in Pakistan honed his skills in contract, employment, and environmental disputes.
Hafiz Jamshaid Anwar
LLB, DTL, LLM
Mr. Hafiz Jamshaid Anwar is a qualified lawyer with over 10 years of professional legal practice experience in Pakistan. Throughout his career, he has served as panel legal counsel for leading financial institutions including Meezan Bank, Bank Alfalah and Samba Bank, and advised both corporate organisations and individual clients on a wide range of contentious and non-contentious matters.
He has substantial litigation experience before both lower courts and the High Courts in Pakistan and has dealt with complex civil, commercial and banking disputes. His broader background includes property matters, corporate advisory work, family litigation and taxation law.
Mr. Anwar subsequently completed his LLM in Financial Regulation and Compliance in the United Kingdom, strengthening his legal capability particularly within regulated financial environments.
Upon moving to the UK, he joined Lawfare Solicitors, where alongside continuing advisory and litigation support, he is increasingly focusing on UK immigration and UK property transactional work. His property practice now includes residential and commercial conveyancing, lease drafting and review, transfer of equity matters, charges/registration, wills drafting, succession matters and probate applications.
On the immigration side, he now regularly assists with PBS routes, skilled worker applications, spouse / family visa applications, nationality applications, human rights based claims as well as compliance support for businesses and sponsors.
Mr. Jamshaid brings a unique blend of cross-border legal exposure, dispute resolution background and commercial advisory skills, offering a practical, commercially aware and solutions focused approach to clients across both UK and Pakistan legal contexts.
Hadi Muhammad
Paralegal
Hadi is a Paralegal at Lawfare Solicitors and is currently pursuing his LLB Law degree at the University of Westminster. He assists the firm’s solicitors with a wide range of day-to-day legal and administrative tasks, ensuring that all matters are handled efficiently and with professionalism.
Hadi has a keen interest in Property Law, Civil Litigation, and Criminal Law, and plays an active role in supporting the team with legal research, document preparation, case management, and client communication. His dedication and attention to detail contribute to the smooth running of cases and the delivery of a high standard of client service.
He is passionate about advocacy and aspires to qualify as a Barrister in the future. Hadi is committed to developing his legal knowledge and practical experience, with a focus on achieving fair outcomes and upholding justice.
On a personal level, Hadi is enthusiastic about continuous learning and enjoys exploring new areas of law. Outside of work, he takes an active interest in current legal affairs and enjoys spending time with family and friends.
